We want to help you get to Universe 2019, and we’re thrilled to once again announce our 2019 GitHub Universe Inclusivity Scholarship Program. This year, GitHub Universe is at the Palace of Fine Arts in San Francisco from November 13-14—and we’d love to see you there.
As part of our ongoing commitment in ensuring our events are accessible and inclusive for people from all backgrounds, we’re excited to offer free tickets through our Community Partners and our Individual Inclusivity Scholarship Program.
- Community Partners:
GitHub’s Social Impact Team is partnering with several local nonprofits and meetup groups to bring even more diversity to Universe. This is part of our dedication to bringing a more rich, dynamic, and creative experience for everyone in attendance.
- Individual Inclusivity Scholarship Program:
For those interested in a free ticket to Universe, we have a small number available for individuals.
Note: Individual scholarships only cover the cost of admission to Universe. Scholarships don’t include any travel or lodging expenses. Scholarship recipients are responsible for arranging and paying for all their own travel and lodging expenses to, from, and within San Francisco.
How to apply
Applications must be received by 12 pm PT on Monday, September 9. You must be 18 or older to be eligible. If selected, we’ll email you by Monday, September 16, and we’ll need confirmation that you’re attending Universe by Friday, September 20.
